Most of the people use their webcam for live streaming. But a DSLR or Mirrorless camera is far better than a webcam. DSLR or Mirrorless camera is not designed to be used as a webcam. But if you already have a DSLR or Mirrorless camera you can use it as a webcam for better live streaming.

Let’s talk about the easiest method first for the Canon users.

Canon recently released their EOS Webcam Utility Beta. Using this software you can easily live stream using your canon camera. 

Here’s how you can live stream with this method:

Step 1 :- Go to this link and find your canon camera model.

Step 2 :- Select your camera model and operating system. And download the software. 

Step 3 :- Install the software. (Currently, it’s a beta version)

Step 4 :- Connect your camera with your computer using the cable.

Step 5 :- Open obs studio or any software that you use or live streaming.

It’s that simple.
